From 23-25 November, the fair VIV MEA took place in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates). This was also the first joint trade fair appearance under the new LANXESS umbrella brand (LANXESS biosecurity solutions).
On April 1, 2021, specialty chemicals company LANXESS completed the acquisition of the French Theseo group, a leading manufacturer of animal health and biosecurity solutions. LANXESS and the seller signed a corresponding binding purchase agreement on February 9, 2021, and the relevant antitrust authorities approved the transaction in mid-March.
From February 09-12, EuroTier was held exclusively in digital format for the first time. According to the organizer, it was a successful premiere. More than 41,000 participants dialed into DLG's digital platform during the four days of the event. They informed themselves about the offerings of around 1,200 participating companies, discussed in over 300 specialist events and networked specifically with the industry.
In view of the continuing uncertain international situation in conjunction with the corona pandemic, EuroTier and EnergyDecentral will be carried out from 9 to 12 February 2021 in a digital version.
Harmonization of the THESEO locations
After the acquisition of what was then EWABO Nahrungsmittel GmbH & Co. KG by the French AVRIL Group (2017), EWABO Nahrungsmittel GmbH became today's THESEO Deutschland GmbH on August 6, 2018. A short time later, the first logo adaptation took place.
DLG is postponing EuroTier and EnergyDecentral, which were scheduled to take place at the trade fair grounds in Hanover from 17 to 20 November 2020. In view of the continuing uncertainty surrounding the overall international situation in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, DLG cannot foresee that it will be possible to conduct EuroTier and EnergyDecentral as leading international trade fairs in a form that is appropriate for exhibitors and visitors this year.
We are happy to announce that our manager for regulatory affairs, Dr. Angela Polleichtner, was nominated by the IHO for the chairmanship/lead of the working group for BIOCIDES. She took on the task proudly and thankfully.

Two months ago, our long-term sales partner AGRO-TRADE took part in a famous coccidiosis conference in Poland. The meeting took place on 20-22 of February and it was organized in a very good Hotel in Wroclaw.
