EUROTIER digital 2021: Successful trade fair premiere!

 

From February 09-12, EuroTier was held exclusively in digital format for the first time. According to the organizer, it was a successful premiere. More than 41,000 participants dialed into DLG's digital platform during the four days of the event. They informed themselves about the offerings of around 1,200 participating companies, discussed in over 300 specialist events and networked specifically with the industry.

It was also the first digital trade fair appearance ever for THESEO Deutschland. THESEO Deutschland presented itself to visitors in a professional manner with a "real" virtual booth and thus created a unique selling point, so that a real trade fair feeling was created during the visit. However, customers also used the chat room or the virtual showroom to get in touch with us via video meeting. Overall, there was a clear preponderance of national visitors or customers.

In summary, it can be said that this first appearance at a digital trade show was important especially for image reasons. However, it is also clear that a digital trade fair can never adequately replace a physical trade fair. Especially our export customers and business partners associate with the regular EuroTier also a real trade fair life with face-to-face conversations and "feeling at home" at our booth.

In this sense, we hope that the next EuroTier in November 2022 can take place again as usual, even if the first signals are already being sent now in the direction of a hybrid trade fair.
